The Kubu Hotel Kuta , Kuta (Bali)

Heading up the stairs to the 3rd floor, my room felt more like a hostel space, with the downstairs area being clean and tidy. The good AC, individual lockers, and free toiletries added a nice touch. The reception area was welcoming too.

The hotel has a prime location, nestled in the heart of the vibrant nightlife area and not far from the beach. The rooms, although lacking AC, are bright, clean, and undergoing refreshing paintwork. However, the presence of bedbugs marred the experience. The value for money was decent considering the inclusion of Wi-Fi and access to the pool.

This hotel is a mixed bag: the rooms downstairs are cozy with AC, hot water, and a TV on the 1st floor, but it may have some issues with safety. The service, despite some setbacks, offers facilities like room service and car hire, with the downside of potential scams. The location is convenient between Poppies I and II, albeit a bit tricky for cabs to navigate. Dining is hit or miss, and the facilities are standard.

The hotel offers deluxe rooms for 175,000 rps per night with wifi and pool, but my stay was affected by bed bugs. The service, while nice, had some issues. The location is central but challenging for cabs due to narrow roads. The dining experience was simple and left something to be desired.
